Today’s Scripture: September 10
“The king will do as he pleases, exalting himself and claiming to be greater than every god, even blaspheming the God of gods” (Daniel 11:36).

 

 
Today we read prophecy about wars between Syria and Egypt, the rise of a great (and past) persecutor of the Jews and a future persecutor (worse than we have ever seen).

 
The Great Tribulation is a future period of unprecedented distress for all Israel and believing Christians throughout the world. The antichrist will rise to world dominance as the greatest persecutor the world has ever known. He will attempt to thwart the coming reign of Christ, yet will be unsuccessful. Blessing awaits for those that endure, for a wonderful inheritance awaits.
