Route through Wilderness
The Lord brought his people out of Egypt. When they asked for meat, he sent them quail. When they asked for bread, he sent them manna – bread from heaven. And it fell right in their midst for the entire 40 years, right up until the time they entered the promised land. What they really needed was water, and God sent water gushing out to form a river through the dry wasteland.
Jesus is the bread of heaven. He is also living water. Just like the rock that gushed out drinking water when the people needed it, Jesus is the Rock that gives living water when we need it.
Dear Shannon; I love the book of Exodus but I’ve never been able to understand as much about it as I do now.I thank you and I thank God for bringing you and the Bible study into my life.I continue to talk up the Bible study to all that I know and meet.
God Bless you and keep up the good work; Gerry
