Today’s Scripture
“When a man divides his inheritance, he may not give the larger inheritance to his younger son, the son of the wife he loves, as if he were the first-born son. He must recognize the rights of his oldest son, the son of the wife he does not love, by giving him a double portion” (Deut 21:16-17).

 

 
Today we discuss the rights of the firstborn and the importance of the birthright. I’ll show you three separate and distinct examples in Scripture where the concepts of birthright is applied and what it means.

 
God’s people are to be pure, leading holy lives. Is there an area of your life you’re having trouble? Is temptation leading you astray? Take heart; temptation is not a sin! Through Jesus, you do have what you need to avoid the struggle and follow the path that leads to life.
