“When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand” (Mark 16:19).
 

 

Jesus left this earth in an unusual way and will return again in the same way – bodily, in a cloud, in view of everyone – to the Mount of Olives, at which time he will split the mountain in two making a wide valley (Zechariah 14:4). Jesus ascended into heaven and is sitting at the place of honor at God’s right hand.
