Today’s Scripture: October 24
“As Jesus was walking through the Temple area, the leading priests, teachers of religious law and elders came up to him. They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things?” (Mark 11:27-28).

 

 
During the last week of Jesus’ life, He spends much time at the Temple debating with the Pharisees. Challenging Jesus’ authority, they repeatedly hound him with their questions in an attempt to trap him. Yet, Jesus, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, has equally provocative answers.

 
During your prayer time, do you find yourself more so debating with God or submitting to His will?
