Today’s Scripture
“I have become wealthy for the Lord has blessed me because of you” (Genesis 30:27).

 
It was Jacob’s thinking that if the animals looked at the color of the peeled sticks, by the power of their imagination they would bring forth young ones in a like manner partly-colored.  Later, he learns in a dream that God is intervening on his behalf because He has seen how Laban was treating him.

 
God pays back the injured, deals with the unjust and defends those who commit to Him. In what areas of your life do you need to commit to God today?
