Today’s Scripture
“Come up here to me” (Exodus 24:1).

God invited the Israelites to come up the mountain to worship Him. The people said “yes” to God that they would do everything the Lord commanded. And they saw Him.

 
While God invites everyone into relationship with Him, the depth and breadth of that relationship is dependent individually on each of us. Like the 70 elders, we can remain at the foot of the mountain, or, like Joshua and Moses, can climb higher up the mountain nearer to God, or like Moses, we can disappear into the cloud as we climb higher and higher into deeper and more intimate fellowship with Him. Hear this invitation from God personally to you as He invites you to “come up near to Him.” Will you respond by climbing higher?
