Today’s Scripture
“The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea… so it can easily be crossed on foot. He will make a highway for the remnant of his people… just as he did for Israel long ago when they returned from Egypt” (Isaiah 11:15-16).
In the book of Isaiah, we read many prophecies, some historical and some yet future. Today, we discuss some of these prophecies that relate to the first and second comings of Christ.
Many great truths about God are given to us in these chapters. God is with us. We can believe God no matter what our circumstances. God will not desert us. We don’t have to think like the world (in fact we’re told not to). The Lord is the only thing we should “fear.” Will you wait on the Lord and put your hope in Him (Isaiah 8:17)?
